2027 APS MCC Dates Now Available
Our APS MCC course dates for the first half of 2027 are now published and open for booking.
It comes at the end of a busy stretch in the training centre. In recent weeks we've seen five trainees pass their Assessment of Competence - two on the Airbus A320 and three on the Boeing 737NG, and welcomed a new group of six starting their A320 APS MCC. That kind of throughput is exactly why we've opened next year's diary early.
What's been released so far
There are twelve APS MCC course starts between 5 January and 8 June 2027. Courses run fortnightly and alternate between the two type-specific programmes, giving six starts on the Airbus A320 and six on the Boeing 737NG. Every course begins on a Tuesday.
How the course runs
Each APS MCC runs for 18 days including rest days, with weekends off. It's an intensive programme, but it's built to be liveable, you're not flying every single day, and the structure gives you time to consolidate between sessions rather than simply surviving the schedule.
You choose the type you train on. Both the A320 and B737NG programmes are delivered to the same Airline Pilot Standard, so the decision usually comes down to which fleet you're targeting, or which type rating you expect to sit next.
One price, everything in it
Every place is £5,700, all-inclusive and including VAT. That's the full course price - there are no separate charges added afterwards and nothing held back to be invoiced later. We publish it on the booking page next to every date, because knowing the real number is the only way to plan properly.

If you'd rather train before the end of this year, there is limited availability left on the remaining 2026 courses. Places on those are going quickly, so if 2026 is your target, it's worth getting a date confirmed sooner rather than later.
Come and see it first - Discovery Day, Saturday 3 October
Booking an APS MCC is a significant decision, and there's no substitute for standing in the building before you make it. Our next Discovery Day is on Saturday 3 October, and it's free to attend.
You'll tour the A320 and B737NG simulators the APS MCC is flown in, look over the fleet, and get impartial, no-pressure advice on the modular pathway from the instructors who deliver it.
There are two sessions, morning (10:00–13:00) and afternoon (13:00–16:00), at Hangar 7, London Oxford Airport, Kidlington OX5 1RA. Everyone aged 15 and over is welcome, whether you're at the very start of your research or already holding a CPL and weighing up where to complete your APS MCC.
