What is APS MCC and do I need it?

APS MCC stands for Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation. It teaches you to operate as part of a two-pilot crew on a jet flight deck. Most airlines require it before offering a type rating. If you are planning to apply to airlines, you almost certainly need it.

What is AUPRT and is it mandatory?

AUPRT is Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training. It is a UK CAA requirement before your initial multi-pilot aircraft type rating. You complete it in the Super Decathlon, learning to recognise, prevent, and recover from unusual attitudes.

Can I choose between the A320 and B737 for APS MCC?

Yes. Oxford Airline Training offers APS MCC on both the Airbus A320 CEO FTD1 and Boeing 737NG FTD1. Choose the type that aligns with the airline or fleet you are targeting.

How does the Airline Assessment Preparation work?

Tell us which airline you are being assessed by and we will build a bespoke simulator session around their specific assessment profile. You can book as a single pilot or bring a colleague to train as a crew. Every session includes pre and post briefings.

What experience do I need for the MCC Instructor course?

You need more than 1,500 hours of multi-pilot aircraft experience. The course qualifies you to deliver both MCC and APS MCC training.

Are the prices all-inclusive?

Yes. Every price is inc. VAT. The Combined MEP-IR-CPL includes all landing and approach fees plus all UK CAA Skills Test Fees. For other modules, the price covers all simulator time, instruction, and briefings.

What is the difference between Level-Up Expedite and Level-Up Flexible?

Expedite is a single comprehensive course that takes you from PPL with ATPL theory passed through to a frozen ATPL in 16 to 18 weeks for £64,000. Flexible is a menu of individual modules you can take separately based on what you need right now. If you need the complete journey, Expedite is for you. If you need a specific module, Flexible is for you.
