Jet2 PILOT RECRUITMENT TEAM VISIT OXFORD

Jet2 is one of the UK's largest airlines and a significant employer of newly qualified pilots. 

OAT was pleased to welcome Josh Raven and Sam Miles from the Jet2 Pilot Recruitment Team to our Airline Training Centre at London Oxford Airport. Josh and Sam spent the whole day with us - viewing our facilities, aircraft and simulators as well as learning more about how OAT supports and trains MODULAR trainees through our EXPEDITE, FLEXIBLE and APS MCC courses in preparation for airline employment.  

We were also pleased to welcome Patrick Tame from British Young Pilots (BYP) alongside the Jet2 team. Patrick's work encourages school children to consider airline flying as a career through a structured training pathway at an earlier age.

During their visit, Josh and Sam outlined for us Jet2's future pilot requirements and how these may be met through the various regulatory pathways - including creating equal opportunities for pilots training via the MODULAR route.

We look forward to continuing our discussions with the Jet2 team in the coming weeks.
