OAT warmly welcomed the Loganair Team from the UK's largest regional airline to speak with our next generation of aspiring commercial pilots.

For anyone thinking about a career on the flight deck, this unique day presented an invaluable opportunity. Visitors were able to meet both the Loganair and OAT team, look at our aircraft, sit in the simulators, and talk directly to the people who both train and hire new airline pilots for Loganair.

What is an OAT  Discovery Day?

A no-obligation opportunity to visit our training centre at London Oxford Airport - arranged specifically for anyone considering becoming an airline pilot.   Whether you're a school leaver, a graduate, or looking for a career change — the day expands further upon the information provided by our website and brochures. Can I really do this? What does the training involve? How much does it cost? And will an airline hire me at the end?

Value of the Loganair Visit?

Loganair operates one of the busiest regional networks in the UK and is a well-known destination for newly qualified pilots. The airline places value upon supporting ab initio pilot training schools leading to exciting first officer opportunities.  Having its recruitment team visit OAT gave our visitors direct access to the people who decide who gets hired by Loganair.

From Discovery Day to the Flight Deck:

Oxford Airline Training offers bespoke MODULAR pathways to reach airline-ready standard:

EXPEDITE: Our full-time, all-inclusive programme that takes you from PPL with ATPL theory to airline-ready in 16–18 weeks, on a pay-as-you-train basis. Every trainee on our Expedite course is backed by our industry-first OAT Competency Assurance, included as standard.

FLEXIBLE: Our standalone MEP, IR, CPL, AUPRT and APS MCC Modules with transparent individual pricing, so you can build your qualifications at your own pace.

APS MCC - the final, airline-focused course that prepares you for multi-pilot airline operations to Airline Pilot Standards.

Not able to make the last Discover Day? Please come to our next one.  Discovery Days fill up fast and the ones with airline recruiters presenting are particularly popular. If you missed Loganair's visit, register your interest now so we can invite you to the next Discovery Day on Saturday 3rd October 26.
